The main aim the paper is to get closer to consider both goal – related behavior and self- regulation trough out the process of overriding temptations. Taking Baumeister & Vohs (2004) meaning of self- regulation and their idea of ego depletion into recognizing human decisions, the study on different effects of various manipulation of ego depletion on men & women willpower was presented. Moreover in first part of the paper we ponder around newborn contemporary value – “consumption & commercial”, which seemed to be the strongest in younger (aged 15-18) polish participants.
