Uwarunkowania lojalności pracowniczej
The purpose of this article is to analyse the factors of employee loyalty. Various individual and situational factors were taken into account when deciding about remaining loyal towards the company such as formal obligation, attachment, standards, as well as personal factors (locus of control, machiavellianism), and situational factors i.e. favorable vs. unfavorable conditions on the job market. The paper-pencil research plan was used. In order to collect the data, they used the specially designed survey questioning the respondents’ opinion on their level of moral attachment and their level of acceptance of the new working conditions. The obtained data was analyzed in significance of statistical differences and correlation. The results confirmed the hypothesis about the relation between the type of obligation, personal characteristics and loyal behavior. The conclusions can be aplied in explaining the social behavior of young people as the members of organizations and also in working out the strategy for creating the loyal behaviors of the company.
