The article is related to the rarely explored problem of forming of identity and its associations with the experiences of aggression in the role of perpetrator and/or victim in two phases of adolescence. The study involved 352 adolescents: 176 people aged 15-16 and 176 people aged 17-18. Three tools were used in the research: Mini-DIA (Österman & Björkvist, 1998), DIDS (Luyckx i in., 2008) and questionnaire. Research reveals limited associations between the processes of forming of identity and the frequency of assuming the role of the perpetrator and / or victim of aggression. Generally, the results indicate that the more intensive the processes of forming of identity are, the less often people from the younger age group take the role of the perpetrator and people from the older age group less often take both the role of the perpetrator and the role of the victim.
