The aim of the paper is to gain a better understanding of the subjective quality of life associated with the perceived environment. The literature shows that quality of life could be induced by subject personality, perceived environment and interaction between both of them. Structural Equation Modeling was used which included city brand personality. 100 inhabitants of one large Polish city were surveyed online. The comparison of goodness of fit indexes indicates that the best model is the one with the construct of city brand personality as a predictor of satisfaction of living in the city and a higher quality of life. The construct of city brand personality requires further research on larger and more diverse samples.
