    [abstract] =>

The authors present the theoretical basis of the PVQ and psychometric features of its Polish adaptation. The questionnaire measures 10 types of values as the elements of a circle structure. It consists of 40 short descriptions of people and students are asked to indicate their alikeness to the person in each description. The presented data come from 1078 Polish subjects. The validity and reliability parameters, comparable to those from other countries, allow for considering the PVQ as a good tool for individual and group research.
