People with the higher self-efficacy function better in various spheres of life compared to those with low self-efficacy. This paper tackles the problem of correlation of intensified self-efficacy with the effectiveness of the school-to- work transition. The participants consisted of 210 people in different stages of school-work transition: preparation (n=70), encounter (n=70) and adjustment (n=70). During the research The Scale of Self-Efficacy in Life Roles and The Generalized Self-Efficacy Scale were used. The obtained result confirmed the existence of differences in the level of self-efficacy in life roles and the generalized self-efficacy between people at various stages of transition from education to work. In addition, a positive relationship between levels of self-efficacy in life roles and generalized feeling of self-efficacy with having employment was confirmed.
