The aim of the article is the presentation of the results of a survey of the dynamics of professional burnout among health workers, education, uniformed services, administration, and the trade and services sectors. With the usage of the MBI – GS questionnaire the level of professional burnout was measured in the first study and in a retest conducted after nine months. Additionally, the authors wanted to verify whether any potential changes in both private and professional lives of the participants over the nine month period could significantly affect the levels of perceived burnout. In the first study 508 respondents were examined. The analysis of Anova variance with repeated measurements was used to compare the results of the first and second study.
